Welcome
You might feel overwhelmed, shut down, or caught in patterns that won't shift and talking about it hasn’t helped.
I work with people impacted by trauma, including developmental and relational trauma, where the nervous system has had to adapt in ways that are no longer serving you. Together, we slow things down and work with the body, so change doesn’t just happen in the moment like a passing cloud but can actually hold over time.
This is careful, attuned work. We go at your pace.
About me
I am a neurodiverse Somatic Experiencing Provider (SEP), relationship counsellor (PACT), Developmental Trauma (DDP), and creative arts (drama) therapist (MCAT), and a Synergetic Play Therapist in training.
I bring decades of experience working alongside people impacted by trauma—in prisons, with criminalised women and girls, in government-funded community settings, and in private practice.
I also come to this work as a human shaped by trauma. This dual knowing, professional and lived, deeply informs how I practise, teach, and continue to learn.
Working with trauma asks more of us than technique alone. It requires the capacity to be present, regulated, and alive in the room. Because of this I have spent years of my life building my own capacity with highly attuned somatic therapists whom I carry with me in my work with you. People like Kathy Kane, Dea Pashanishi and Linda Stelte as well as training with the now deceased Ray Castellino, often known as the baby whisperer.
My work is trauma-explicit and integration-focused. I draw on Somatic Experiencing, parts work, Sesame dramatherapy, Synergetic play therapy and developmental touch work to support change that is embodied—not forced.
This may include working with sensation, image, movement, or gentle relational processes, always with care not to overwhelm your system.
⸻
I understand Somatic Experiencing as a hero’s journey, a gradual coming home to yourself through the body.
It is about reclaiming access to the life energy that has been held or bound up in trauma patterns, and learning how to be with and love the more fragile and tender parts of yourself without losing connection or stability.
When this work is supported well, it allows for a deeper sense of integration, wholeness, and aliveness.
⸻
In this, I see my role as a bridge, holding safety, presence, and regulation so that you can find your way home to yourself.
Safety is foundational in all of my work. I pay close attention to how safety is experienced in the body, in the space, in the imagination, in relationship, and within the wider systems you are part of.
